HTC Tattoo, the mobile phone best known for changing its physical appearance now ready to run the new Android OS Eclair. Yeah HTC confirmed Android v2.1 OS update for Tattoo. We appreciate HTC for making Tattoo more efficient.

Tattoo is powered by Qualcomms's 528Mhz processor, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, WiFi and 3.5mm headset jack. These specification are enough for the new OS, Well we can take this as a challenge to both Google and HTC to prove their performance. HTC also said that the update will take some time to configure its Sense UI with Eclair. It’s clear that HTC will release an update but not soon.

Advantage over getting this new update are you can download latest applications from Google labs and developers, you can use software’s which are designed for Nexus one and Droid if hardware specification is not an issue. HTC also said that there is no OS update for Hero and Magic. Releasing the update as soon as possible can increase the sales of Tattoo.
