T-Mobile, one of the largest carrier of  USA going to
upgrade its 3G network to HSPA - High Speed Packet
Access by end of this year. Due to this customers of
T-Mobile can have data transfer speed upto 7.2Mbps.


T-Mobile G1, My Touch 3G and other current devices
may have this high speed data transfer service.
I think this may be a gift from T-Mobile to its customers
for this year Christmas .It also leaked that the carrier
will go for HSPA+ by next year. HSPA+ service will have
data transfer speed upto 21Mbps.Currently testings
are going on major locations of the states.
